How often should high-touch surfaces be disinfected?
High-touch surfaces in a commercial building are usually disinfected daily, with extra visits during cold and flu season or after an illness. Shared workstations and restroom touch-points get the most frequent attention. The right frequency depends on your traffic and is set at the walkthrough.
What is the difference between cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting?
Cleaning removes dirt and germs from a surface with soap or detergent but does not necessarily kill them. Sanitizing reduces germs to a level public-health standards consider safe. Disinfecting uses an EPA-registered product, left to sit for a set dwell time, to kill most germs. Sabal does all three on a documented protocol.
